Wei Wei

I’m a Ph.D. student in the Binformatics and Genomics (BG) program at Penn State University (PSU) and I joined the Koslicki Lab in May 2020. My research interests are in developing computational methods and exploring their applications in solving real-world biological problems, as well as proving related mathematical results.

Prior to joining PSU, I was doing my master’s degree in Bioinformatics at Northeastern University in Boston. Prior to that, I was doing my undergrad in Applied Mathematics at National University of Singapore.

I enjoy attending Bible studies. I like to paint and read and cook as well. I was also once a decent pianist and an award-winning Chinese short story writer.
